The 8th Annual Quad States Leadership Conference will be held on May 3 and 4, once again at the Hampton Inn in Wells, ME.
With energy production and distribution currently “hot topics,” this year's subject will be Energy and Energy Efficiency.
The New England Governors in December signed a compact agreeing to work together to solve the regions energy issues. The Governors are committed to working toward a regional goal of lowering electricity and heating costs and expanding their [energy] portfolios. It this announcement contributed to our making the choice of topic for our 2014 conference.

Make your own hotel reservation at Hampton Inn & Suites, 900 Post Road, Wells, Maine 04090 (207-646-0555). Be sure to say you are with the League of Women Voters and the room rate will be $109.00. Find a roommate to share and the cost will be under $55 per person. Our block of rooms will be held until April 18, but the rate will be in effect until the event. Breakfast is included in the room rate, Saturday lunch is included in your registration fee. We will have dinner in area restaurants on Saturday.
